Mallo Cups mentioned in Real Simple Magazine
I had read this article but had completely forgotten about it until I was reminded by a post on Peanuts & Stillettos, so thank you! In the January issue of Real Simple,
there is an article on The Candy Store in San Francisco.
We'll let you all read the article, but the highlight for me was that the owner of the store states that her favorite candy is, yes, you guessed it, Mallo Cups!
! She describes Mallo Cups as "shaped like a Reese's but the outside is milk chocolate and toasted coconut and the inside is marshmallow." That about sums it up, nice work! That just goes to show all you regional candy makers out there who struggle against the candy behemoths (Hershey's, Mars, Nestle) that a smaller candy company like Boyer in the middle of Pennsylvania can still live on in the hearts of people all the way in San Fran!
Check out Mallo Cups here.
