Boyer Candy reduces its taxes, more money for candy!

boyerdude.jpgBlair County and Boyer Candy have negotiated a new assessed value on the company's property to one-third of its former rate. The new market valuation is $1.1, versus the $3.3 million it has been.

Maybe not the most exciting news, but it does mean the company will have a good deal more cash freed up to put into the products and company - woo-hoo!
