Importation Abomination - Imported Cadbury bars are from Hershey's

Many chocolate lovers have figured this importation abomination, according to the Wall Street Journal. And they are determined to seek out imports from the U.K.

There's no accounting for people's opinion of quality. The UK Cadbury contains vegetable oil. The Hershey's made is 100% cocoa butter.

My understanding is that Hershey's acts as a contract manufacturer in this respect, using ingredients and methods specified by Cadbury, so that it is really a different product than Hershey's makes for its own brands. Each company has its own methods and ingredients that impart a special taste that makes it unique in the market.

And, Cybele, we have been over this. If it tastes good, it is good!
