Gummy Haggis - No stomach casings...we promise
Haggis...favorite is William Wallace and the traditional Scottish delicacy.
It is made of sheep entrails and spices boiled inside a sheep's stomach. Yummy. In the unlikely case that you don't like this (yeah right), you can at least eat the gummy candy version. The candy is 3-1/2" long, and weighs 100 grams. As the image makes clear, it is an unappetizing brown color. It is butterscotch flavored.
Gummy Haggis is available here.

We double dog dare you to pop one of these in your mouth next time you're meeting with your psychotherapist.
Each lolly is about 2-1/4" tall with a 4" plastic stick.
Check out Sigmund Freud lollipops here.

Uncle Oinker's Gummy Bacon - Strawberry, Bacon-y Goodness
Disturbingly realistic looking bacon strips from Archie McPhee. Fortunately (or not), each 20 gram slice is actually strawberry flavored gummy meat sealed in a plastic bag.

Batman Dark Knight Pez Dispensers
If you're a comic book geek (which I admittedly am), you'll want to check out these pez dispensers, which are being released to coincide with the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight. Each box comes with an assortment of characters: Batman, Joker, Riddler and Two Face. I don't think Riddler is in the new movie, but who's counting?
Check them out

Star Wars Limited Edition, Giant Pez Dispensers
Who doesn't like Pez? That's what I thought, no one. Who doesn't like Star Wars? Ok, don't answer that. But if you are one of the people who like them both, like me, then you'll love these giant Star Wars pez dispensers. Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Death Star, C-3PO, Chewbacca and R2-D2 pez dispensers - all 12-inches tall and can hold 12 Pez at a time.
And...wait for it...wait for it...they light up and play the Star Wars theme music.
Thanks to techabob for the heads up on this.
You can check them out - they're $18-20 each - at BulkCandyStore.
Other Star Wars-themed Pez products can be found here.

Thanks CandyAddict for the heads up on this licorice and the pic. A very fun idea to appeal to both the black licorice lovers and also the tech/geek community.

Bacon flavored mints
We've been seeing bacon make its way into gourmet chocolates, but this is our first sighting of our favorite breakfast meat entering the breath mint arena. While I'm not sure these would taste very good, all the neighborhood dogs will love you.

Hershey honors Earnhardt with collector-edition bars
2008 is the 50th anniversary of the Daytona 500, and the 10th anniversary of Dale Earnhardt's 1998 Daytona 500 victory. To honor the legend, Hershey is launching four collector-edition candy bars. The bars will sport iconic images of Earnhardt and the "No. 3" he made famous. Read the whole press release on the NASCAR website.
Interestingly enough, Earnhardt's son, Dale Jr. got his own candy bar as well, the Big 'Mo bar from RJ Palmer, which we covered back in February.
Check out Hershey's tribute to Dale Earnhardt.
